Bespoke Level Surveys
Almost any form of level survey can be undertaken depending on the information which is required.
Surveys can be carried out on grids to varying sizes e.g 0.5m, 1m, 2m , 3m etc. Surveys of specified areas or construction items e.g at columns, pile caps, rack leg locations, manholes, dock levellers, rails or slab edges can also be undertaken or included with the grid survey.
Survey data can then be analyzed to provide a set of reduced level readings highlighting:
- high and low areas.
- highest and lowest points.
- differences to a given datum or calculated average datum.
- survey points outside or inside of an agreed specification.
Examples of when this is required include:
- Checking for settlement of existing slabs.
- Checking for subsidence of existing slabs.
- Sub slab survey prior to receiving pump screed.
- Sub slab survey prior to casting concrete topping slab.
- ‘As built’ level survey of construction items.
- Shimming schedule required for rack leg feet.
- Monitoring differential movement for ASRS where From 9.831 and 9.832 is specified.
